Tours & travel

We operate individual and group tours to Russia, especially in Siberia, Mongolia and China. Some of our standard tours are listed on this site, and if you want to create your personal trip, we will be happy to assist you.

Air- and train tickets

We offer international and Russian domestic airline tickets with special rates, as well as train tickets on the legendary Trans-Siberian Railway in Russia.

 

Visa services

Before arranging a trip to Russia, citizens of most of the countries need to apply for a Russian visa. As a licensed tour operating company (MBT 009826) we can provide you all necessary supporting documents for a tourist visa.

Summer individual tours

  • SUMMER STANDARD

    Day 1. Upon arrival in Irkutsk you will be transferred to Listvyanka village on the shore of the Lake Baikal. After delicious lunch at the fish restaurant you will visit the Limnological Museum to learn a lot about flora and fauna of the Lake and its surroundings. Enjoy walking tour of the village with visit to St. Nicholas’ Church. Accommodation at hotel or in the family, visit of Russian banya in the evening.

    Day 2. Whole day at Baikal Lake! By a ferry-boat you will get to the famous Circumbaikal Railroad for walking along the shore of the Lake, admiring the unique tunnels, bridges and viaducts, constructed in the beginning of the 20th century. Picnic-lunch on the shore of the Lake.

    Day 3. Return to Irkutsk, lunch at the restaurant in the city centre, and accommodation at hotel or in the family.

    Day 4. Depart home.

  •  SUMMER TREKKING

    Day 1. Arrive in Irkutsk, one day to explore the city. You will enjoy sightseeing tour with visit to the most beautiful Irkutsk churches. Accommodation at the hotel or homestay.

    Day 2. Transfer to Listvyanka. On the way you will visit the open-air museum of wooden architecture, where acres of forested land are filled with wooden buildings of historical Siberian housing, including Russian village with its houses, farmsteads, churches, and a school building, as well as Buryat yurts and cemetery. Then trekking begins! Climbing the Primorsky mountain range (about 1 km), then trekking about 7-8 km, stop of the head of small river Sredny for picnic-lunch. Descending to the shore of the Lake (1,5 km). Installation of tents, dinner, overnight in tents.

    Day 3. After breakfast continue trekking in the direction of Listvyanka (about 11 km total), visual inspection of the cave, climbing to Berezovaya fold and descending to Listvaynka. After lunch in the bay you will be transferred to Irkutsk. Accommodation at hotel or in the family.

    Day 4. Depart home.

  • CIRCUMBAIKAL RAILROAD,

    the old part of Transsiberian, which is the unique monument of engineering architecture with 39 tunnels and more than 400 engineer constructions, built in the beginning of the 20th century.

    Day 1. Arrive in Irkutsk, one day to explore the city. You will enjoy sightseeing tour with visit to the most beautiful Irkutsk churches. Accommodation at the hotel.

    Day 2. Today you will spend the whole day traveling on the Circumbaikal Railroad! The tourist train makes 4-5 stops for a walk en route (from min. 20 minutes to max. 1,5 hours) at the most picturesque places of the Old railroad. A ferry will take you from Port Baikal to Listvyanka village. Then transfer to hotel in Listvyanka, overnight.

    Day 3. One more day at the Baikal Lake! You will visit the Limnological Museum offering a great variety of species of flora and fauna of the Lake and its surroundings. After delicious lunch at the fish restaurant you will enjoy walking tour of the village with visit to St. Nicholas’ Church and 1-hour boat ride on the Lake. One more overnight in Listvyanka.

    Day 4. After lunch you return to Irkutsk and visit the open-air museum of wooden architecture on the way. There you will get acquainted with wooden buildings of historical Siberian housing, including Russian and Buryat villages. Accommodation at the hotel.

    Day 5. Depart home.

  • OLCHON ISLAND,

    the heart of Baikal

    Day 1. Arrive in Irkutsk, one day to explore the city. You will enjoy sightseeing tour with visit to the most beautiful Irkutsk churches. Accommodation at the hotel.

    Day 2. Full-day trip to the Baikal Lake! On the way to Listvyanka village you will visit the open-air museum of wooden architecture. After delicious lunch at the fish restaurant on the shore of the Lake you will visit the Limnological Museum offering a great variety of species of flora and fauna of the Lake and its surroundings. Then enjoy walking tour of the village with visit to old Siberian wooden St. Nicholas’ Church. Return in Irkutsk in the evening.

    Day 3. Today you will go to the geographical, historical and sacral heart of Baikal Lake, Olchon Island! On the way you will visit the settlement of Buryat people Ust-Orda village to get acquainted with culture of these ancient people at the Local Lore Museum and with their original cuisine during traditional lunch. Then take ferry to the biggest Island on the Lake. Accommodation at the private hotel upon arrival.

    Days 4-5. Time at leisure to explore surroundings. Optional excursions to the most picturesque and famous places of the Island.

    Day 6. Return to Irkutsk city, free day in Irkutsk.

    Day 7. Depart home.

Our special programs

We would like to invite you to learn the Russian language in Irkutsk. Our individual course can be tailored to improve your personal reading, listening, speaking, or grammar skills. You may also be trained at practical communication skills. You can choose the dates of your courses as well as the type of accommodation: hotel, hostel or homestay. Being part of a Russian host family is an excellent opportunity to learn Russian in an authentic environment.

We invite you to Russian Cooking Course! You can learn Russia’s unique cuisine taught by friendly world-class professional chefs or by skilled hostess who will open to you all the secrets of home-made Bortsch, traditional Tschi soup, the famous Russian Salad called by us Olivier, baked Blini, Pirozhki and Varenniki.

Take an Ethnographical tour to Buryat village Ust-Orda, located 50 km from Irkutsk, and you will plunge into a unique atmosphere of traditional way of life of this ancient Siberian folk which has handed down its traditional culture across the generations. During the tour you will visit the Local Lore Museum to get acquainted with these people’s customs. After taking part in a shaman rite you will be invited to taste traditional dishes of Buryat cuisine.

The unique opportunity to visit the most picturesque places of the deepest lake in the world is to take part in a Cruise on the Baikal Lake. The vast land around the Lake is very rare visited by the tourists because there is no way to travel there by land.
